The art of distilling has been around for a long time – as far back as 800BC. And while distilling in common culture is linked with the production of alcoholic drinks, it also has roots in the extraction of essential oils and fragrances used by many ancient cultures. The Mesopotamians, Egyptians and Babylonians all used distillation to extract the flavors and scents from botanical sources.

We use this time honoured process in the production of 9Meadows.

We source only the best botanical ingredients from pure alpine meadows,  and farmers we know, and combine them to create the unique recipes that reflect the flavor of the Alps. Our master distiller uses traditional copper pot distillation to handcraft these raw ingredients into the unique tastes of 9Meadows.
